It’s scary November is almost over already!
The upside is, it gives me the chance to do my first favourites post. This month I will be commenting on the beauty products I have been enjoying, including skincare and makeup. Enjoy!
First up, skincare 🙂
Benefit Refined Finish Facial Polish: i have been absolutely loving this product, i have been using it for the past 2 months or so and i have noticed a huge difference in my skin. it’s far more radiant than it was, and after a hot summer it really helped to nourish my skin and replenishing the moisture lost over the holidays. I use this product 2-3 times a week depending on how much of a pick me up my skin needs!
Simple facial toner and cleansing lotion: The perfect duo, I’m very sad that these products are running out 😦 i neglected them for a while, but when i came back to them i remembered how much i loved them. A cheap but effective pair that keeps my skin feeling fresh and smooth. I use both these products, cleanser then toner after removing any makeup i was wearing that day. Also, in the morning i like to apply the toner as it wakes me up and freshens my skin. The best thing about these products is that they leave no residue whatsoever, I will be sure to get back to boots to buy more very soon.
Jimmy Choo Perfume: I received this product as a gift for my birthday, and i adore it! I usually go for sweet smells, but this is a little less sweet, yet still gorgeous, favourite perfume i’ve ever used.
Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter: As i have been having more baths recently instead of showers, i have been really enjoying applying this body butter after a bubbly soak. It smells divine and leaves skin unbelievably soft, i wish they did it in bigger pots!
Estee Lauder Eye Cream: Perfection in a pot. Estee lauder’s eye cream is a dream to use, i have been using it in the mornings and also at night to prevent bags under my eyes, and it has been working wonders for me! I highly recommend this product. Even though it is a little pricey, I must say i have never found a good eye cream on the high street.
Next up, Makeup
Jemma Kidd Eyeshadow – 03 Vintage: This is a very shimmery golden brown toned eyeshadow that i like wearing on special occasions, for me it isn’t an everyday thing simply because i don’t feel the need, however to partys etc i love wearing a little bit of shimmer on my lids along with the bareminerals eyeshadow in creme soda as they go lovely together
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: After hearing Zoella raving about this product for such a long time i thought it was about time i gave it a go, and oh lord it’s amazing. Such good quality for just £4, i don’t see myself trying another concealer for a long time! Surprisingly, i actually prefer it to the boi-ing benefit concealer as i think it blends better, it might just be a personal opinion. i have it in the 02 medium shade 🙂
Benefit They’re Real Mascara: After using this mascara there was no going back for me, it’s ridiculously good! There’s not much else to be said. it’s gorgeous.
Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer: There aren’t much faults i can give this product, the only thing being it runs out fairly quickly. This glides on extremely smoothly and sinks in within seconds, i have found my powder has stayed on much longer since i have been using it, even when the whether is horrendous.
bareMinerals Original Mineral Powder: They call this powder a foundation, however it really isn’t as it is just a mineral powder. this annoys me. Never the less, it is beautiful! lasting an incredible amount of time, with a light coverage, i must have been using this product for atleast a year now and my skin has improved hugely, i cannot recommend this product enough. it may sound pricey, however if you only use a little when you need it lasts a very long time! It is by far my best buy. BUT just to point out, if you are looking for a heavy coverage i would not suggest buying this product.
